High-Pressure Stopcock
Reinforced stopcock for contrast injection and angiography, with a high-pressure-rated body and rotating handle. 3-way and standard high-pressure versions available.
Overview
For contrast-media injection and angiography, a standard stopcock is not enough — the body must hold high pressure without leaking. Our high-pressure stopcock uses a reinforced PC body and a sealed rotating core, available in a 3-way configuration. Pressure rating is confirmed per configuration; tell us your peak pressure and we match the right version. Supplied as an OEM component to distributors serving cath-lab and radiology accounts.

Typical uses
- Contrast-media injection in radiology
- Angiography and cath-lab pressure lines
- High-pressure infusion circuits
- OEM component for interventional-radiology distributors
High-pressure stopcock configurations
| Configuration | Pressure | Built for |
|---|---|---|
| High-pressure stopcock | Up to ~1,200 psi | Contrast power injection |
| High-pressure 3-way | Up to ~1,200 psi | Angiography lines needing flow control |
Built for pressures a standard stopcock won't hold
A standard three-way stopcock is fine on an infusion line, but put it on a contrast power injector and it can leak or burst. The high-pressure stopcock uses a reinforced body and a sealed rotating core to hold the peak pressures of angiography and contrast injection — the difference between a part that "looks the same" and one rated for the job.
Standard and 3-way high-pressure
We mould a standard high-pressure stopcock and a 3-way high-pressure version that adds a flow-control point while still holding injection pressure. Both keep the clear body and colour-coded handle of the standard line.
Pressure rating is the whole point
Versions are commonly rated up to about 1,200 psi, matched to the injector's peak. Tell us the peak pressure the part will see and we confirm the exact rating per configuration — never assume a high-pressure label means a specific number.
Sterilisation, colour and OEM
EO-sterile or non-sterile to your market, colour-coded to your scheme, and packed under your own brand — pouch, carton and print to your design.
Questions distributors ask
What pressure is it rated to?
High-pressure versions are commonly rated up to about 1,200 psi, matched to the injector's peak. We confirm the exact rating per configuration before you order.
Why not just use a standard 3-way stopcock?
A standard stopcock is not built for injection pressure and can leak or fail under contrast power injection. The high-pressure version uses a reinforced body and sealed core for exactly this use.
Is a 3-way high-pressure version available?
Yes — it adds a flow-control point while still holding injection pressure, alongside the standard high-pressure stopcock.
Can you supply sterile and under our brand?
Yes — EO-sterile or non-sterile to your requirement, colour-coded, and packed under your own brand and packaging.
