Hemostasis Connectors — Twist, Click & Push-Pull
Y-bodied hemostasis connectors in twist, click and push-pull actuation, supplied bare or with a 10, 20 or 25 cm extension line. Seals around a guidewire while it advances.
Overview
A hemostasis connector seals around a guidewire or catheter while still letting it advance, so blood does not escape at the entry point during a procedure. The three actuations are a genuine preference split rather than a product ladder: twist gives fine, gradual control and is the traditional choice; click seals and releases in one movement, which matters when an operator is working one-handed; push-pull sits between them. We mould all three in a Y body, bare or with a 10, 20 or 25 cm extension line already attached. Which one a market prefers is usually settled by what its interventionalists trained on, so distributors often carry two.

Questions distributors ask
Which actuation sells best?
It splits by market, not by merit. Operators use what they trained on, so the answer in one country is often the opposite of the answer next door. If you are entering a new market, order a small mixed batch of twist and click before committing to volume.
Can you attach the extension line for us?
Yes — that is the usual order. We fit the 10, 20 or 25 cm line at assembly so your customer receives it ready to use rather than as two parts. Bare connectors are available if you assemble in-house.
What guidewire size does the seal fit?
We build to your stated range. Send the wire sizes your customers use and we match the seal — a connector built for a wider wire will weep around a thinner one.
