Overview
The parts that get a line from one path to two, or from a syringe to a needle. The Y-adapter is a plain moulded split with Luer ends, used where a set needs a branch and a valve is not wanted. The needle adapter joins a hub to a Luer fitting. The introducer needles are supplied in 18G at 6.5 and 7.0 cm and 20G at 3.8 cm, with green and clear hubs, plus a Y-type body in a pink hub at 18G. Hub colour is a working convenience — it lets a team pick the right gauge from an open tray without reading the label — so we hold the conventional colours rather than moulding whatever resin is loaded.

Questions distributors ask
Why does hub colour matter if the gauge is printed on it?
Because in use nobody reads it. A team picking from an open tray under time pressure goes by colour, and a needle in a non-standard colour gets picked wrong. We hold conventional hub colours for that reason — if you need a house colour instead, say so explicitly and we will confirm before tooling.
What is the Y-type introducer needle for?
The Y body gives a side port at the hub, so a syringe can stay attached while a wire goes through the main path. It is a procedural preference rather than a requirement — order a small quantity alongside the straight body if you are not sure which your market wants.
Do the Y-adapters have a valve?
No. They are a plain split. If you need backflow protection at the branch, order the T-bodied check valve instead — it does both jobs in one part and saves a connection.
