Ultrasound needle guide (biopsy needle guide): a disposable accessory that attaches to the probe and fixes the needle's entry trajectory so it stays within the scanner's imaging plane. This improves entry-point and angle accuracy, raises first-pass success and reduces the number of punctures and the risk of injuring nearby structures compared with freehand technique. Used in ultrasound-guided puncture for PICC and central venous catheter (CVC) placement, arterial access, regional anaesthesia (nerve blocks), pain management, biopsy (liver, kidney, breast, thyroid), assisted reproduction (IVF oocyte aspiration) and interventional ultrasound. Available for linear and convex probes, with a transducer-specific bracket and multi-angle/multi-gauge inserts. Compatible with a sterile probe cover and gel. Latex-free. EO sterile. Single use.
