Can the XY466E extension be used for both mechanical ventilation and anaesthesia?
Yes. The 22 mm ISO connectors are compatible with mechanical-ventilation and anaesthesia circuits. The side ports allow a capnograph and an in-line nebuliser to be connected without breaking the circuit.
How long does the integrated filter last?
The integrated bacterial/viral HME filter is rated for 24 hours, like standard HME filters. Replace the whole extension every 24 hours or between patients.
Is the CO₂ port compatible with sidestream capnography?
Yes. The CO₂ sampling port is compatible with sidestream capnography analysers. Confirm your capnograph's specific connector type when you request a quote.
