The OPT944 is Fisher & Paykel Healthcare's Optiflow+ nasal cannula in medium size: the patient interface for high-flow therapy on the AIRVO or with the MR850 humidifier. We supply it as a distributor, original and in its original blister, at US$45 per unit with a minimum order of 10.
How it fits the system
The device heats and humidifies the gas; the heated tube carries it; the cannula delivers it through the nostrils. On the AIRVO 2 the tube and chamber come in the AIRVO 2 heated breathing tube and chamber kit (900PT561). A patient on high flow uses one kit and one cannula, so the two are normally ordered together.
Size
Size M covers most adults. Small (OPT942) and large (OPT946) are quoted on request. The prongs should not fully fill the nostrils: high-flow therapy needs a leak around them.
