What is the difference between the XY466V2 and the XY467 circuit?
Both are ICU mechanical-ventilation circuits. The XY466V2 is the standard model with a water trap integrated on the expiratory limb; the XY467 is the basic model without a water trap. For prolonged procedures the XY466V2 is recommended.
How often is the XY466V2 ventilation circuit changed?
International guidance recommends changing every 7 days in the absence of visible contamination. With active respiratory infection or contaminated secretions, change more often per clinical judgement.
Is the XY466V2 compatible with active humidifiers?
Yes. It can be used with heated-wire active humidifiers (e.g. Fisher & Paykel MR850 or similar) instead of a passive HME filter. For active humidification, a heated-wire circuit is recommended to minimise condensation.

Edaochi Medical's standard ICU ventilation circuit (SKU XY466V2) is the dual-limb workhorse for adult intensive care — built around a water trap so condensate never reaches the patient.
Dual-limb with a water trap
Separate inspiratory and expiratory limbs reduce dead space, and the water trap on the expiratory limb collects condensate that would otherwise pool and run back toward the airway during long ventilation. 22 mm ISO corrugated tubing fits Puritan Bennett, Hamilton, Maquet, Mindray and similar ventilators. Compared with the trap-free XY467 circuit, this is the choice for prolonged support.
