Precio referencial. Consulte con nuestro equipo para cotización exacta.
Disposable breathing circuit for ICU mechanical ventilators. Smooth-bore or corrugated tubing with 22 mm and 15 mm ISO connectors, available in single- or dual-limb builds and made from soft medical polyethylene. Designed for the long-running ventilation typical of intensive care, it is compatible with Puritan Bennett, Hamilton, Mindray, Maquet and most modern ICU ventilators. Single use, supplied adult and paediatric.
Technical Specifications
Clinical Uses
- ICU mechanical ventilation
- CPAP / BiPAP
- Prolonged respiratory support
- Distributor supply: circuit + filter + catheter mount from one source
Single-limb vs dual-limb ICU circuit
| Single-limb (passive) | Dual-limb | |
|---|---|---|
| Tubes to the patient | One — inspiration and expiration share it | Two — separate inspiratory and expiratory limbs |
| Exhalation | Leak / exhalation valve near the patient | Returns through the expiratory limb to the ventilator |
| Typical use | CPAP / BiPAP, transport, home ventilation | ICU ventilators with full monitoring |
| In the set | Limb + connectors | Two limbs + Y-piece + elbow connector |
| Water traps | Rarely fitted | Optional, one per limb (heated humidification) |
Match the circuit to the ventilator side: ICU dual-limb machines need a dual-limb circuit; single-limb circuits suit CPAP/BiPAP and transport units.
Frequently Asked Questions — Mechanical Ventilation Circuit for ICU
Is the XY467 compatible with Puritan Bennett 840 and Hamilton ventilators?
Yes. The 22 mm / 15 mm ISO connectors are compatible with the Puritan Bennett 840, Hamilton C6, Mindray SV-300, Maquet Servo and most modern ICU ventilators.
What is the difference between single-limb and dual-limb ICU circuits?
A single-limb circuit uses one tube for both inspiration and expiration (a passive circuit). A dual-limb circuit has separate tubes for each phase, which reduces dead space and improves efficiency in patients with compromised respiratory physiology.
How often should the ICU ventilator circuit be changed?
International guidance recommends changing only when the circuit is visibly soiled or malfunctioning rather than on a fixed short schedule. Evidence-based change protocols are available in procurement documentation; specify change-interval requirements when placing a tender or bulk order.
Are water traps included, and when should a buyer order them?
Water traps are a build option — typically one per limb on heated-humidification setups, where condensate collects in the tubing. If your customers run HMEs instead of heated humidifiers, traps are usually unnecessary. Specify with or without traps when ordering; both come off the same line.
What exactly is included in a dual-limb circuit set?
The dual-limb build ships with two limbs, the Y-piece and an elbow connector, individually pouch-packed. HME/HMEF filters, catheter mounts and an extra limb can be added to the same order so the ICU receives a complete, connector-matched set from one source.

Full Description — Mechanical Ventilation Circuit for ICU
Edaochi Medical's ICU ventilator circuit (SKU XY467) is built for the long-duration ventilation of intensive care, where reliability and connector compatibility matter most. Soft medical polyethylene tubing with 22 mm / 15 mm ISO connectors mates with the ventilators ICUs actually run.
Single-limb or dual-limb
- Single-limb (passive) circuits are simpler and lighter, used with an expiratory valve at the patient. - Dual-limb circuits separate inspiration and expiration, reducing dead space and improving efficiency for patients with compromised respiratory mechanics.
Compatibility
Validated against the Puritan Bennett 840, Hamilton C6, Mindray SV-300, Maquet Servo and most modern ICU ventilators. Adult and paediatric builds, 1.0–1.6 m. For circuit-type selection see our breathing circuits guide, and for change protocols our ventilator circuit change frequency & VAP guide.
Infection control
Use with an HME/HMEF filter to condition inspired gas and protect the circuit. The circuit is single use and changed between patients; within a patient it is changed on soiling or malfunction rather than routinely.
Condensate management: water traps
On heated-humidification setups, condensate collects in the tubing and needs somewhere to go — that is what per-limb water traps are for. Circuits running an HME instead usually skip them. Both builds come off the same line, so a distributor serving mixed ICUs can order with and without traps in one shipment.
Buying wholesale
Factory-direct, ISO 13485 and CE documented. Choose limb count, length, smooth-bore vs corrugated, water traps and packaging; the dual-limb set ships with Y-piece and elbow connector, and HME/HMEF filters and catheter mounts can join the same order. OEM and samples available. Box price and MOQ quote on WhatsApp within 24 h.
