Which lengths are available?
10, 30, 50, 100 and 150 cm. The 30 cm is the most requested for direct connection to a peripheral catheter; the 100–150 cm lengths are preferred in the ICU for infusion pumps, where there is more distance between the venous access and the equipment.
Is a stopcock version available?
Yes. A version with an integrated three-way stopcock is available, which adds a multi-access point for switching between infusions or giving a bolus without opening the line. Both versions use male/female Luer-lock connectors compatible with most infusion systems.
Is it compatible with infusion pumps?
Yes. The extension line is compatible with most infusion systems and pumps; the longer 100–150 cm versions are commonly used to bridge the distance between the venous access and a pump in the ICU. It is single-use and EO sterilised.
What is microbore tubing and priming volume?
Microbore tubing has a narrow lumen and a low priming volume (roughly 0.1–1 ml depending on length), which reduces wasted drug and dead space — useful in paediatrics and with potent medications. A slide clamp controls flow, and a high-pressure version is available for power contrast injection.

A length for every setup
