The category you are entering
Third-party sales estimates for the US store in mid-2026 put the leading nail product, a urea-based nail renewal treatment, at around 20,000 units a month, with a tolnaftate liquid and a tea tree and oregano botanical formula each around 10,000. Two things follow. Demand is proven, including for botanical formulas. And most leading products share a few actives, so a new brand needs a different formula.

Amazon US
- Under MoCRA the product must be listed with the FDA, normally by the brand owner named on the label as the responsible person.
- The facility that manufactures it must be registered with the FDA. Confirm the facility’s registration status with us before you fix a launch date.
- Serious adverse events reported to you have to be reported on to the FDA, so the label needs a US contact.
- Keep the claims cosmetic. Salicylic acid claims for acne, corns, calluses or warts turn the product into an OTC drug.
Amazon EU and UK
- A responsible person established in the EU, or in Great Britain for the UK store, notifies the product before sale on CPNP or SCPN and holds the product information file.
- Their name and address must appear on the pack, and Amazon’s European stores ask for it at listing.
- Labels must be in the language of each country you sell in.
- The EU and UK cap salicylic acid at 2.0% in a leave-on product, and our formula runs at 1.6–2.0%.

Monthly capacity is 100,000 units, so a listing that takes off is not capped by the factory. Shelf life is 1 year from manufacture, unopened, which matters for how much stock you send to a fulfilment centre at once. Cartons hold 100 units. Common questions
Can I list this cream on Amazon as a nail fungus treatment?
No. Amazon prohibits listings that make disease claims, and its enforcement is largely automated and keyword-driven. A cosmetic described as treating, curing or killing nail fungus is a disease claim in the US and in Europe, and a listing built on it is a listing waiting to be removed.
What can the listing say?
Cosmetic language about care and appearance: softens and smooths thickened nails, conditions the nail and the hard skin around it, a herbal nail and foot cream with named botanicals, a wrap-on care routine. Write the title, bullets, images and A+ content to that standard, not only the title.
What is the minimum order for my own brand?
500 units with your brand on our existing jar and carton format. 2,000 units for full OEM with a custom jar, carton and insert. You can buy a single stock unit first to evaluate the product.
Who is the responsible person for the US and EU?
You, or an agent you appoint. In the US, MoCRA requires the product to be listed with the FDA by the responsible person named on the label. In the EU, a responsible person established in the EU must notify the product on CPNP and hold the product information file, and their name and address go on the pack.
Can you label units for Amazon fulfilment?
