Diagnostic Angiographic Catheter — 14 Shapes, 4/5/6 F
SKU: XY-ANC | Catéter de Angiografía Diagnóstica — 14 Curvas, 4/5/6 F
Diagnostic catheter for peripheral and visceral angiography, made in the shapes that cover a room's routine work: COBRA 1–3, SIM 1–3 (Simmons), MPA 1–2 and MPB 1–2 (multipurpose), VERB (vertebral), STR (straight), IMLBR1, MIK, HH 1–2 (headhunter), RC2, RH, YAS, RS and RLG. Construction is braided-wall — torque applied at the hub arrives 1:1 at the tip, which is how the shape is steered inside the vessel — with a soft atraumatic tip and a wide inner lumen to hold the contrast flow an angiographic run demands. Sizes 4, 5 and 6 F and lengths of 80, 90, 100 and 110 cm. Cardiac shapes (JL/JR 3.5–5.5, TIG, pigtail) are made on the same platform to order. A department's purchase is always an assortment: a few shapes in volume (COBRA, pigtail, multipurpose) and the rest in smaller counts; we ship the assortment as a single order.

Frequently Asked Questions — Diagnostic Angiographic Catheter — 14 Shapes, 4/5/6 F
How is the shape chosen?
By target vessel and arch anatomy: COBRA for renal and visceral work, SIM (Simmons) for supra-aortic trunks off a difficult arch, multipurpose MPA/MPB as the everyday, VERB for vertebrals, pigtail for aortography. A room works with a repertoire, not a shape — hence we sell assortments and never force a box per reference.
What does braided construction add?
Two things felt in the hand: hub torque arrives whole at the tip (1:1), which is how the shape is steered inside the vessel, and the wall does not kink in tortuous runs. An unbraided catheter turns late and badly — in selective work that is added fluoroscopy time.
Do you make the JL/JR cardiac shapes?
Yes, on the same platform and to order: JL and JR from 3.5 to 5.5, TIG for radial access and pigtail for ventriculography. If your unit does diagnostic coronary work, state shapes and sizes and we include them in the same assortment.
What is the minimum order across so many shapes?
The MOQ applies to the order total, not to each shape: combine volume in COBRA and pigtail with smaller counts of selective shapes. Send the full assortment (shape × size × length) and we quote it as one unit.

Full Description — Diagnostic Angiographic Catheter — 14 Shapes, 4/5/6 F
Shapes are a repertoire, not a preference
COBRA for renals and viscerals, Simmons for difficult arches, multipurpose as the everyday, pigtail for aortography. A room works with a repertoire, which is why we sell assortments and apply the MOQ to the order total rather than per shape.
What the braid buys
Torque from the hub arrives whole at the tip — 1:1 — and the wall does not kink in tortuous runs. An unbraided catheter turns late and badly, and in selective work that is added fluoroscopy time.
Cardiac shapes on the same platform
JL and JR 3.5–5.5, TIG for radial access and pigtail for ventriculography are made to order and join the same assortment.
What to confirm before ordering
- Shape × size × length assortment with quantities - Wire the room runs (0.035" typical in 5/6 F) - Cardiac shapes if the department does diagnostic coronary work
