Disposable Pressure Transducer — 1 to 3 Channel IBP Monitoring

SKU: XY-DPT | Transductor de Presión Desechable — Monitoreo PAI de 1 a 3 Canales

In stock — Worldwide shipping

Complete disposable pressure transducer kit for invasive hemodynamic monitoring in ICU, theatre and the cath lab. Each kit carries the transducer with its Snap-Tab flush device, a stopcock, caps, the pressure monitoring line, an IV line and a patient card — ready to prime and connect. The fluid pathway is clear along its whole length, so bubbles are seen during priming rather than discovered damping the waveform. Before quoting, one question decides everything: which connector does your monitor's cable use? The kit is built in the three common interfaces (Baxter type, Utah type, Abbott type), in one, two or three channels, plus paediatric versions in one and two channels. The range is completed by the pole-mount holder and the four-slot organizer plate that keep transducers at the patient's reference height. Brand names identify interface compatibility only; this is not an original accessory of those manufacturers.

Clinical Uses

  • Invasive arterial pressure monitoring in ICU and theatre
  • Central venous and pulmonary artery pressure
  • Cath lab and cardiovascular surgery
  • Bundled purchase with the closed blood sampling system

Available configurations

Pick the interface first, from your monitor's cable; then the channel count. One channel per pressure monitored simultaneously: arterial, CVP, pulmonary artery.

The reusable cable that joins transducer to monitor is ordered separately — see the IBP adapter cable in this category.

Frequently Asked Questions — Disposable Pressure Transducer — 1 to 3 Channel IBP Monitoring

How do I know which interface to order: Baxter, Utah or Abbott?

Look at the cable that connects your transducers to the monitor today — the connector at the transducer end defines the interface. If you are buying for several hospitals, send monitor models and we confirm it ourselves. All three interfaces cost the same; getting this wrong is the top cause of returns, so we always confirm before production.

Does the kit come assembled?

Yes: transducer with Snap-Tab flush, stopcock, monitoring line, IV line and caps in one sterile pack. Prime it, clip it to the holder, connect the monitor cable.

What is the Snap-Tab and why does it matter?

The fast flush built into the transducer: two fingers flush the line without opening the system or turning stopcocks. Compared with flushing through a stopcock it means less handling and a steadier trace.

Are the holder and organizer included?

They are quoted as accessories of the same line: the pole-mount holder fixes the set at reference height and the organizer plate carries up to four transducers side by side. Both are reusable, so the usual ratio is one mounting set per bed and disposable transducers per patient.

Will this transducer work with my monitor?

It connects to the wide range of multi-parameter monitors through the corresponding IBP cable. You need two parts: this disposable kit in the right interface, and the reusable cable specific to your monitor, which we offer as a separate product. Brand names are cited only to identify compatibility.

Full Description — Disposable Pressure Transducer — 1 to 3 Channel IBP Monitoring

One question decides the order: which interface?

A pressure transducer only works if it plugs into the cable your monitor already uses. The three common interface families — Baxter type, Utah type, Abbott type — cover the vast majority of monitor fleets, and the kit is made in all three at the same price. Interface mismatch is the number-one cause of returns on this product, which is why we ask before manufacturing, every time.

What arrives in the pack

Transducer with the Snap-Tab flush device, stopcock, caps, pressure monitoring line and IV line, assembled and sterile. Prime, mount, connect. The clear fluid path means bubbles show themselves during priming instead of flattening the trace an hour later.

Channels map to pressures

One channel for a single arterial line, two for arterial plus CVP, three when a pulmonary artery catheter joins. Paediatric versions are their own references, not scaled-down assumptions.

What to confirm before ordering

- Interface type — send a photo of your current cable end if unsure - Channel counts and the adult/paediatric split - Holders and organizer plates for the bed count - Whether the closed blood sampling system ships in the same order
