Contrast Injector Syringe — CT, MRI & DSA
SKU: XY-CIS | Jeringa para Inyector de Contraste — CT, MRI y DSA
An injector syringe is chosen by the head that receives it, not by how much it holds: barrel diameter, plunger travel and the retention system differ between manufacturers and, within one manufacturer, between generations of the machine. A wrong reference cannot be adapted or half-used, and a room standing idle for want of compatible syringes costs more than the whole order. So this line is organised by injector brand and model rather than by millilitres. We cover CT, MRI and DSA, in single-syringe or paired configuration to match the head, from 60 to 250 ml. The pack is semi-transparent so the radiographer can identify the reference without opening it. These are compatible consumables manufactured under an ISO 13485 quality system — not original spare parts, and not endorsed by the holders of the injector brands, which are named only to identify machine compatibility.

- Contrast injection in computed tomography
- MRI studies with a power injector
- Digital subtraction angiography in the cath lab
- Routine consumable replenishment for imaging departments
- Radiology catalogue extension for distributors and importers
Compatibility by injector
Find the modality, then the exact model as printed on the machine's plate. Stellant and Stellant D take different syringes, as do Accutron HP 832 and Accutron CT-D862 — the family name is not enough to quote against.

|---|---|---|
| CT | Medrad / Bayer | Stellant · Stellant D · MCT & Plus · OP-100 · VCT610 · ECT710 · Salient |
| CT | Liebel-Flarsheim | CT 9000 · CT 9000 ADV · OptiVantage |
| CT | Nemoto Kyorindo | A-25 · A-60 · Dual Shot CT |
| CT | Medtron | Accutron HP 832 · Accutron CT-D862 |
| CT | EZEM | Empower CT · Empower-D (ACIST) |
| MRI | Medrad / Bayer | Spectris · Solaris EP |
| MRI | Liebel-Flarsheim | Optistar LE Elite |
| MRI | Nemoto Kyorindo | Sonic Shot 50 |
| MRI | Medtron | Accutron MR |
| MRI | Bracco | Empower MR |
| DSA | Medrad / Bayer | Mark V · Mark 7 · Mark 7 Arterion |
| DSA | Liebel-Flarsheim | Angiomat 6000 · Illumena |
| DSA | Nemoto Kyorindo | 120S · Rempress |
Departments often run injectors from several brands — the CT and the MR machine were usually bought separately. List them all and we quote the mix as a single reference.
Frequently Asked Questions — Contrast Injector Syringe — CT, MRI & DSA
How do I know which syringe my injector takes?
Send the brand and exact model as printed on the injector's plate. The family name is not enough — Stellant and Stellant D take different references, as do Accutron HP 832 and Accutron CT-D862. With the model we confirm reference and capacity before quoting.
Are these original parts from the injector manufacturer?
No. They are compatible consumables manufactured under an ISO 13485 quality system, intended to work with the injector models listed. They are not made or endorsed by the holders of those brands; the names appear only to identify machine compatibility.
What is the difference between single and dual head?
A dual head injects contrast and saline from two independent syringes, so the line is flushed straight after the bolus without changing connection. It uses a pair of syringes per study instead of one. The machine decides this, not preference — a dual head will not run on a single syringe.
Do you cover MRI and angiography injectors as well as CT?
All three modalities. CT, MRI and DSA cover different brands and models and each has its own line. The DSA room additionally needs 1200 PSI tubing, which we supply separately. If your department runs several modalities we quote them together.
What is the minimum order and what documentation do you provide?
The minimum depends on the model and on whether the order is a single reference or a mix. Send the injector models, estimated monthly consumption and destination country for price and lead time. We provide the technical file, the manufacturer's ISO 13485 certificate and per-batch sterilisation documentation; the finished-device registration is held by the distributor in the destination market.

Full Description — Contrast Injector Syringe — CT, MRI & DSA
Buy by the machine, not by the millilitre
Every other spec on this page is secondary to one line: which injector is in the room. The barrel diameter, the plunger travel and the way the syringe locks into the head are all machine-specific, so a syringe that does not seat cannot be made to work. That is why the compatibility table above is the product, and the capacity is just an attribute of the reference you land on.
Send the plate, not the family name
The most common ordering error is quoting a family. Stellant and Stellant D are different heads. Accutron HP 832 and Accutron CT-D862 are different heads. Empower CT and Empower-D are different heads. Read the model off the plate on the injector itself and send that.
Single head or dual head
A dual head injects contrast from one syringe and saline from the other, so the line is flushed immediately after the bolus without changing connection. It consumes a pair of syringes per study rather than one. This is set by the machine, not by preference — a dual head does not run on a single syringe.
On compatibility and brand names
These are compatible consumables built under an ISO 13485 quality system. They are not manufactured by, sold by, or endorsed by Bayer, Guerbet, Nemoto, Medtron, Bracco or any other injector manufacturer. Those names appear here for one purpose: to tell a buyer which machine the part fits.
What to send for a quote
