The first is rapid infusion in the ER and theatre: pressurising the bag drives flow far beyond gravity, the standard method for fast volume replacement and urgent transfusion. The second is continuous and quiet: keeping the flush bag of arterial monitoring lines at 300 mmHg — the working pressure of the transducer's flush device.
