The cervical ripening double balloon applies gentle mechanical pressure to both sides of the cervix: one balloon fills on the uterine side, the other on the vaginal side, and sustained pressure between them ripens the cervix without drugs. The body is 18 Fr × 40 cm with two colour-coded filling valves — each balloon fills and empties through its own line, with no possible confusion in a gesture done under drapes and reasonable haste. Working volume 80 ml per balloon with saline.
